By now, you may have heard the news: New York City MAGA extremist Alison Esposito has announced her candidacy in NY-18.

We’ve expected this announcement for some time. Esposito has spent the last several months shopping for a district to run in and courting far-right supporters and national GOP mega-donors to prop up her impending campaign.

And in a sign of how politically craven she is, Esposito has chosen today of all days to get in the race. Just days ago, war broke out in the Middle East. Hundreds are dead, and many more, including American citizens, are being held hostage. Dozens of our own community members are desperately trying to return from the region. It is absolutely appalling that Esposito would choose this moment to launch her latest political campaign.

But she did. So, I am going to keep this very brief and give you the cold hard facts about Alison Esposito:

• She was endorsed by the NRA and has called gun violence 'a distraction.'
• She supports a national abortion ban with no exceptions for rape or incest.
• She’s sold out to big corporations who are ripping off hard-working families.
• She stands with insurrectionist traitors who want to overthrow our democracy.

We’ve got enough MAGA extremists in Congress; what we need are more Patriots.

Today, I am asking you to stand with me together on the side of patriots to defeat another MAGA extremist.

In 2022, we faced two opponents, one more extreme than the next. Republicans spent $6,000,000 against me. We won twice. Esposito will be more of the same. She will be well funded by DC insiders, dark money groups, and the same corporations ripping off our families.
