John, Democratic women can do the impossible. 

Since I became a part of Emerge in 2006, I’ve seen women step up to run for office and succeed when polls and pundits said they didn’t have what it takes. From building new Democratic trifectas to achieving the FIRST majority-women legislature in the nation (in my home state of Nevada), Emerge women are making history and reshaping politics as we know it. And we’re just getting started.

Right now, it’s no exaggeration to say the strength of our democracy is fading. But Emerge continues to rise to the occasion to recruit, train, and empower Democratic women to run, win, and fight for our essential rights and our communities And with a stellar 71 percent win rate in 2022 alone, alums of our political training programs are making an impact at every level of office in 45 states and U.S. territories. That’s not a fluke, John – it’s a movement.

Because every year (for the past 20 years), Emerge is building a bench of bold Democratic women with the skills and support they need to win up and down the ballot, push back against the broken GOP’s agenda, and achieve a democracy that works for all our communities.

With over 1,200 Emerge women in office right now and over 175 more on the November ballot, our ranks of trailblazers, fierce fighters, and committed community advocates are growing state by state.
