We need your help to speak out before it's too late. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ The outcome of U.S. v. Rahimi will determine if a domestic abuser is allowed to own a firearm. If the Supreme Court rules in the gun lobby's favor again, the consequences will be deadly. That’s why we’re counting on activists to speak out before the Court hears arguments in less than a month. Can you respond to our urgent poll right now?

John,
Last summer, the Supreme Court handed down the NRA's dream ruling in a case that allowed for dramatic increases in who can carry concealed weapons in public. It emboldened the gun lobby to start legal battles to gut gun laws across the country – and now, we are less than one month away from the Court's next consequential case for gun safety in the United States.
In U.S. v. Rahimi , the Supreme Court will consider whether a domestic abuser has the right to own a firearm. And, John, another gun lobby victory in the highest court in the land would be deadly: There is a lethal connection between firearms and domestic abuse. The mere presence of a gun in a domestic violence situation makes it five times as likely that a woman will be killed.
I won't mince words: if the Supreme Court allows domestic abusers to access firearms, people will die. The Supreme Court must prioritize survivor safety over a dangerous abuser’s access to guns.
This ultra-conservative Court, a majority solidified by former President Trump, has proven that they have no issue overturning decades-old precedent when it comes to the Second Amendment, so we cannot risk staying quiet. That's why Brady partnered with domestic violence prevention and gun violence prevention groups to file an amicus brief in the case this summer – and why I'm reaching out to ask for your help today.
Lives are at risk. Gun laws are at risk. We need to do everything in our power to stop another deadly Supreme Court decision.
Can you help make it clear that the majority of Americans support common-sense gun safety laws that save lives? We don't have a lot of time before the Court will hear arguments and we need as many activists as possible to speak out NOW. Please, will you submit your answer now?
