This month, I joined General Assembly candidates Joshua Cole and Joel Griffin to get out the vote for the November elections. We got out in the community to help get Virginians registered to vote, find their polling place, and talk about what’s at stake if we allow the GOP to hold on to the House of Delegates and take over the Virginia Senate.

Republicans haven’t controlled both chambers and the governor’s office for a decade. For 10 years, Democrats have had a voice in the General Assembly that could stop the GOP from passing legislation that hurts Virginians. If we lose in November, there won’t be anything stopping them.

We’re putting everything we’ve got into reaching out to folks all across the state to make sure they know what’s at risk and they have a plan to get to the polls and turn Virginia Blue. But we can’t do it without you. Please, if you’re able, chip in today to fuel our efforts on the ground with the Democratic Party of Virginia to turn out voters and keep the General Assembly out of GOP hands.
