Dear Friends,

We  express our heartfelt gratitude for joining us at the 27th annual American Courage Awards event last Friday, October 6, 2023. We were thrilled to have you join us to celebrate the courage, resilience and determination of individuals who have made a remarkable impact.

We celebrated the Honorable Julie A. Su with the American Courage Award; Tavae Samuelu with the Changemaker Award; Rohit Kataria with the Norman Y. Mineta Spirit Award; and Sherrilyn Ifill with the President’s Award. We express our sincere appreciation to our emcee, Michelle Li, as well as our other speakers and award presenters, including Stewart Kwoh, Terisa Siagatonu, and Tarina Ahuja.

It was truly a memorable night as we celebrated esteemed individuals who are illustrative of the phrase, “it only takes one person to mobilize a community and inspire change.”

By coming together as a community, we can inspire change, promote justice, and create a more equitable and compassionate society for all.

Finally, we extend our appreciation to our board of directors, national advisory council members, staff, and sponsors for their support and commitment to our organization.  It’s not too late to celebrate with us and make a contribution so that we can continue our work in support of individuals, families, and communities nationwide.

Please consider making a donation online today. Your gift serves to advance the civil and human rights of Asian Americans and builds and promotes a fair and equitable society for all. Thank you for being a part of this special celebration and for your continued support of Asian Americans Advancing Justice | AAJC.

In solidarity and with sincere thanks,
