NBC NEWS: Pennsylvania rolls out automatic voter registration

This is great news! Now, eligible voters getting a new driver’s license or ID will be automatically registered to vote.

This is an important step in expanding our democracy and securing our elections.

While extremist Republicans across the country try to pass voter suppression laws and keep vulnerable Americans out of our election process, I’ve been proud to support legislation that would make it easier for people to vote.

I know how important common sense solutions like automatic voter registration, vote-by-mail, and early voting are in allowing voters of varying backgrounds and abilities to vote.

But I’m running in a toss-up district against MAGA extremists who want to make it harder for people to vote, so I need all the help I can get. Will you contribute to my re-election campaign to keep me fighting for voting rights and more in Congress?
