I know your inbox is probably being flooded with emails, especially with the presidential primaries in full swing and our fundraising deadline last weekend, but I promise I’ll keep this quick.

I just wanted to reach out and say this: thank you.

Thanks to your grassroots support from all over the country, we just had our second-best month of online fundraising. Ever.

With an average donation of $23, people like you gave nearly 50,000 small-dollar contributions to my campaign for re-election in February – plus, we raised over $100,000 for other House Democrats on the frontlines in competitive races this November.

We’re building something really special and powerful here, team, and making our message loud and clear to Trump and the GOP: they can’t get away with turning their backs on our democracy.

Tomorrow is the primary election here in California, and it’s a big opportunity for us to show Republicans that I’m not going anywhere, and neither is our Democratic House Majority. We’re determined to keep fighting for what we believe in.

If we keep up this level of energy for the next eight months, I know we’ll prevail.
