Ohio’s 9th Congressional District is one of three races that the National Congressional Campaign Committee (NRCC) is targeting as potential pick-up opportunities in 2024.
Of the three targeted races, OH-9 is the only district that is trending positively for Republican candidates and where Republicans perform better with Donald Trump on the ticket for President.
With these trends in mind, it is important that the nominee be a strong supporter of President Trump and someone who can resonate with working-class voters in the suburbs of Toledo.
Last cycle’s nominee, J.R. Majewski, is the best positioned candidate in the Primary forOH-9 to turnout Trump voters and working-class swing votes.
In addition to his appeal with the most important swing votes in the district, J.R. Majewski has universal name identification after running last cycle. However, this cycle, J.R. will be able to tell voters the story about himself, his background in the nuclear power industry, and his military service without the false Democrat attacks from last cycle that have been proven false.
Not only will Majewski be able to re-introduce himself to OH-9’s voters, but he will also be able to tell the story of how Marcy Kaptur and the Democrat party illegally accessed his military records and lied about his service – a powerful message especially within our targeted voter demographic.
