John -- Have you seen the news?

⇨ FIRST: Joe Arpaio was convicted of criminal contempt for disobeying a court order instructing him to stop illegally targeting immigrants.

⇨ THEN: He was pardoned by his longtime friend, President Donald Trump.

⇨ NOW: A judge refused to expunge Arpaio’s record “because pardons don’t erase convictions or the facts of cases.”

The fact of the matter is that Joe Arpaio is a convicted criminal -- and he’s running against Sheriff Penzone to be the top law enforcement officer in Maricopa County again!

John, we can’t go back to the abuses of the past. Can you chip in to re-elect Sheriff Penzone so we can continue moving Maricopa County forward instead of backwards?

Sheriff Penzone has spent the last three years working to undo the damage of Arpaio’s administration -- from bringing MCSO into compliance with court orders, to shutting down the infamous Tent City jail, to restoring trust with the community.

But all our progress could be in jeopardy if Arpaio returns to the office he disgraced. We can’t let that happen, John -- chip in now to say no more to convicted and disgraced Joe Arpaio.
