As so many of us have seen and experienced, climate change disproportionately burdens communities of color and other underserved populations, creating additional health risks and worsening inequities ([link removed]) . Grassroots, community-based organizations (CBOs) across the country have been responding to this threat in real time with innovative solutions - even with limited resources. Equipped with the knowledge of what their communities need to stay safe and healthy, these CBOs are partnering with other local organizations and funders who understand that local approaches to climate change relief and protection are as critical as large-scale, global policy change.

Join the Vaccine Equity Cooperative ([link removed]) alongside national climate equity leaders in this webinar on Thursday October 19th 3:00-4:00pm ET | 12:00-1:00pm PT. During this interactive conversation, attendees will:
* Receive an overview of the connection between climate change and health equity, both current and future impacts;
* Hear bright spot examples from the CBOs creating local climate equity solutions right now; and
* Learn about the tools used nationally and locally to address health inequities caused by climate change.
