*Governor Parson to Join Cabinet Members, External Stakeholders, and SEMA Officials for COVID-19 Briefing and Press Conference*

*(JEFFERSON CITY, MO) * *Tuesday*, *March 3*, *2020*, Governor Mike Parson will join Cabinet members, external stakeholders, and Missouri State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) officials for a briefing and press conference regarding COVID-19.

Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) Director Dr. Randall Williams will provide a briefing on the virus and the states precautionary measures. A press conference will take place immediately following the briefing.

Dr. Williams and DHSS have been taking steps to prepare for a potential outbreak since January 27, 2020. Tomorrow's briefing will further the state's preparedness measures. To date, there have been no confirmed cases of the virus in Missouri.
