John, the House could vote tomorrow for a new speaker – and it's looking more and more like Brian Fitzpatrick's Republican party is going to be gridlocked. And it could not come at a worse time, as we see tensions rising in Israel. This is what happens when you have weak leadership. Spoiled punks like Matt Gaetz throw a tantrum and put us all at risk. When I was an Army officer, I dealt with plenty of young servicemembers who tested the limits (though it'd be an insult to label any of them as terrible as Gaetz). In fact, I had a pair of soldiers who were never at their stations, despite their hats being on their desks – which implied they were nearby and inside. Turned out, they were using decoy hats and wandering off! So what did I do? I soaked the decoy hats in water and left them in the freezer for them to find. They stayed at their stations after that. As an Army officer, it was drilled into me that strong leaders hold their team accountable. Because failing to do so endangers everyone. That's exactly what we're seeing in the House right now.
