VoteRiders Voter ID Assistance Volunteers (aka Super Volunteers) work one-on-one with people who need help getting their voter IDs. We’re looking for detail-oriented volunteers who have 1-3 hours a week to spend ensuring eligible voters have the ID they need to vote on Election Day.

It can be challenging getting a photo ID, especially without reliable transportation or disposable income. VoteRiders Voter ID Assistance Volunteers help voters make appointments, secure transportation, locate documents, and navigate challenging bureaucracy.

Our Super Volunteers truly make a difference — this is how we ensure that all eligible voters can get the voter ID they need before presidential elections in 2024.

This opportunity is open to anyone who is interested, but we particularly need volunteers in key communities where VoteRiders has staff on the ground including Houston TX, Columbus GA, Atlanta GA, Pittsburgh PA, Orlando FL, Charlotte NC, Madison WI, and Milwaukee WI. If you’re detail-oriented, reliable, computer savvy, passionate about people, and ready to get more involved this training is for you!

P.S. If you don’t have 1-3 hours per week, but still want to help, make a donation to help people secure the documents they need and pay the fees to get an ID. $50 pays for the costs associated with obtaining underlying documents like a birth certificate.
