John, in case you
missed it, Jackie Lacey’s husband just threatened protestors with a
firearm.

This morning, Black Lives Matter-LA tried to hold District Attorney Lacey
to her promise of having a community meeting before Tuesday’s primary
election. Protestors were instead met with Lacey’s husband and a gun.

Lacey’s husband proceeded to point his gun directly at protestors and say
“I’ll shoot you. I don’t care who you are.”

Since Lacey took office in 2012, she has spent her two terms protecting
and serving the powerful at the expense of the vulnerable and oppressed
communities of color in Los Angeles.

It is time we replace Jackie Lacey with a District Attorney who will work
to bring real reform to the broken LA justice system.
