The truth is, the radical Left uses class and race to hold on to their political power.
The treatment I’ve received from the Left is disgusting. As someone who grew up in a single-parent household, mired in poverty, I’ve lived the American Dream and I know deep down that we’re the greatest country on God’s green earth. I believe that America can do for anyone what she has done for me.
So when the Left hears my optimistic, positive message rooted in conservative principles, and sees the color of my skin, they become OUTRAGED. They don’t want to unite our country, they want to divide us.
As I told Glenn Beck on his podcast recently, they are modern plantation owners.
The congressman who pulled the fire alarm to disrupt House business the other week called me a Sambo for being a Black Republican. He reminds me of the plantation owner using the whip to suppress the thoughts of people that might stand up and say that’s wrong.
In modern America, in 2023, those same plantation owners use those words to suppress anyone who looks like me from standing up and speaking conservative truths.
That is a challenge and a fight for the soul of our nation worth having. You have to be willing to take the shots and push back. And John, I won’t back down from this fight.
