Dear John,
There’s a viral song going around called “Rich Men North of Richmond.” It implies that folks in Washington are disconnected from their constituents. What it fails to mention are the rich men who live IN Richmond - who are pulling the strings for the upcoming election and funding my opponent.
For instance, Governor Youngkin has been raising money from billionaires and investors with money in companies that are against American interests. (Here’s one: Youngkin Takes $2M Donation from TikTok Investor Despite App Ban.) And tens of thousands of those dollars are underwriting my opponent’s campaign.
As candidates, we all raise money from big organizations. But it sets off a few alarms when that money is funneled through “rich men” who may have hidden agendas. I prefer to keep my cards on the table, and work with organizations that align with the only group that matters to me: my constituents.
If it’s important to have a representative who represents YOU - and not the rich men in Richmond - go vote for me. And tell your friends and family. It’s more important than ever.
Yours in service, Clint |
