Dear John,

Whether we’re getting out the vote or telling our stories at the Capitol, TakeAction Minnesota’s politics is grounded in love and solidarity.

Here’s the thing: no matter what happens, after tomorrow, we’ll be one step closer to electing a new President.

Thank you for being on this journey to Super Tuesday with us.

For the first time in decades, Minnesotans are picking our first choice for president by voting in a primary. With Mayor Buttigieg and Senator Klobuchar dropping out, the field looks different than it did just a few hours ago.

Make sure you have a plan to vote. Check out our Busy Voter’s Guide if you have questions about what will be on your ballot.

At TakeAction Minnesota, we endorsed in the presidential race for the first time in our history this year. We’re clear that it’s going to take a broad and united movement to win in November—and deliver the change our communities need in the long run.

That’s why we are backing Bernie Sanders.

As an independent political organization, TakeAction Minnesota focuses on building grassroots people power, addressing the issues that matter most to our families—from universal health care to solving the climate crisis.

Together, we can move forward behind the candidate who is clear that this election isn’t about him—it’s about us.

We’re a movement of women, young people, people of color and Indigenous communities, working class voters, and people from all walks of life who know we can build a better world together. And we need you with us too.

Tomorrow, we have a chance to make sure our values are represented in our politics. Make sure you go vote. Read our Busy Voter’s Guide if you have any questions.

If you’re on the fence, deciding which candidate to support, I encourage you to read this blog by TakeAction leader Megan Boyle about why she’s supporting Bernie Sanders and read what Minnesotans have been telling us about why they're in it for Bernie.
