John,
The stakes are simply too high for this race in Pennsylvania to remain "obscure" any longer.
Right now, Democrats Bob Harvie and Diane Marseglia are in a neck-and-neck race with Republicans over control of the Bucks County Board of Commissioners — which oversees how people vote in the county.
If Republicans control the county commission, they could make it a lot harder for people to vote, swinging the district for Republicans up and down the ballot in 2024. And if MAGA Republicans sue the county like Trump did after 2020 (11 times!), we have to make sure it's Democrats defending voters' voices not election deniers.
So that's why I'm asking for you to support Bucks United. We absolutely MUST win in 33 days. [[link removed]]
This race really is going to come down to the wire.
In 2019, Democrats took control of the board for the first time in 40 years with just a few hundred votes. Now, experts are expecting this year's race to be just as close.
With so much on the line and margin for error so slim, every dollar really can make the difference.
So please, rush a donation right now to Bucks United. Let's make sure Democrats win Bucks in 2023 so we can win again in 2024. [[link removed]]
