Cherelle Parker has dedicated her career to public service, and I know she will continue to serve our communities as mayor. She is a former state legislator and city council member, and she will be Philadelphia’s next mayor.
If elected this November, Cherelle Parker will make history as the first woman to be our city’s mayor. As Pennsylvania’s first woman to be Speaker of the House, I know how important it is that we continue to break glass ceilings and that we ensure that while we may be the first, we are not also the last.
