October Happenings at Alliance For Children   North Texas Giving Day Recap 2023 North Texas Giving Day was a success! Thanks to our wonderful donors, we exceeded our goal and raised $44,364! Your impact will ensure that healing is a reality for Tarrant County child abuse victims, keeping our services free and accessible. Did you miss out on the big day? It’s never too late to impact the life of a child! Make Hope and Healing Possible Trick or Treat with Alliance For Children Spooky Season is upon us! We're looking for vetted volunteers to help us host a Trick or Treat party for children in our Clinical Program on Tuesday, October 24 from 5-6 pm at all three of our locations. Before Group Therapy, children will be able to compete in a cake walk, play festive games, and receive goodie bags full of tricks and treats. Friendly costumes are highly encouraged! Support our Spooky Wishlist Northeast Center Ribbon Cutting On September 27th, the expanded Northeast Center was officially unveiled! Members from all over the community joined us in celebration of our renovated facility over light bites, personal tours, and great conversation. Thank you to everyone who made this moment possible and have ensured healing for child abuse victims in Northeast Tarrant County for years to come! Kendra Scott Gives Back Want to treat yourself or do some early holiday shopping while giving back? Save the date for a “Kendra Gives Back” event on Sunday, November 19 benefitting Alliance For Children! Enjoy light bites and sips and shop to support a great cause: 20% of all sales will be donated back to Alliance For Children. Sunday, November 19, 2023, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm Kendra Scott 1612 S University Dr. Suite 401C, Fort Worth, TX 76017 National Bullying Prevention Month Bullying is unwanted, aggressive and harmful behavior towards another person, and unfortunately plagues Tarrant County children in their schools and homes. October is National Bullying Prevention month, so be sure to support victims of bullying and promote kind, respectful, and inclusive behavior in your home or school!   Let's Play Bingo! Save the Date Saturday, February 17, 2024 10:00 am - 2:30 pm Live! By Loew's - Arlington Alliance For Children presents the 14th annual Let’s Play Bingo! Ladies Luncheon: Par-Tea for the Kids. Save your seat for this unique event that brings Tarrant County women together for a common cause: the prevention and healing of child abuse. Don’t be late for this “very important date” to join us in our day of fun including a silent and live auction, cocktails, and a delicious lunch, raffles and prizes, and of course, play BINGO! Purchase Tables & Tickets Now Safe Sleep for All Every person deserves a safe and comfortable place to sleep, especially our kids. To prevent things like co-sleeping between multiple siblings and infant fatalities, we are requesting donations for beds of all sizes and sheet sets to provide caregivers in need with safe environments to tuck their tiniest family members in at night.
