John, Happy Indigenous People's Day.
In acknowledgment of the rich history and cultural contributions of Native American communities, I am proud to embrace and celebrate Indigenous Peoples' Day on October 9th.
This day offers us an opportunity to honor and recognize the diverse cultures, histories, and traditions of Indigenous peoples who inhabited Pennsylvania like the Erie, Lenape, Susquehannock, Shawnee peoples and beyond.
By recognizing the significance of this day, we all should aim to contribute to a broader dialogue on the importance of inclusivity, cultural diversity, and the need for continued collaboration between different communities.
By coming together in celebration, we can build a stronger, more unified community that values and respects the diversity of its members.
