In a fiery speech delivered on Monday, former President Donald Trump issued a stark warning about the looming threat of World War III, and he didn't mince words when criticizing President Joe Biden's handling of the escalating conflict in Israel and Gaza.
Trump began his address by stating, "We are facing an imminent danger of World War III," characterizing this potential conflict as "a war of annihilation."
He then launched a scathing critique of Joe Biden, stating, "[He] struggles to complete coherent sentences, yet he's engaged in negotiations with President Xi of China."
Trump's remarks come at a time when tensions in the Middle East are escalating, following a Hamas attack that resulted in the deaths of over 900 Israelis and at least nine Americans.
The criticism arises in the midst of reports of Americans being held hostage in Gaza by the terrorist group Hamas. The crisis deepened when a Hamas spokesperson issued threats to execute hostages in response to Israeli airstrikes.
While Israel has responded with military action against suspected militant targets in Gaza, unverified reports suggest that Iran provided direct support to Hamas during its extensive incursion. This support has led many to draw parallels between these actions and the recent U.S.-Iran deal, which released $6 billion in assets to Iran for purported "humanitarian purposes."
