Then, I talk with Miranda Devine, author of “Laptop from Hell,” and we discuss the major issues surrounding Hunter Biden and his family. Take Care Of Yourself
The most guilt that you can experience, perhaps, is the sure knowledge you are not taking care of yourself, and you are leaving that responsibility to other people because that is pretty pathetic, unless you are psychopathic and you are living a parasitical life. That characterizes a very small minority of people and an even smaller minority think it is justifiable.
Most of the time you are in guilt and shame because not only are you not taking care of yourself so someone else has to, but you are also not living up to your full potential. There is an existential weight that goes along with that. You are not only not being what you could be, but you are also interfering with someone else being what they could be. You are not only a void, but you are also a drain. That is a catastrophe.
Perhaps you can at least live with yourself when you are taking responsibility for yourself. That settles your conscience.
