We’re smashing records, John.
In Philadelphia’s closely-watched City Council race, WFP's Kendra Brooks and Nicolas O’Rourke have briskly outraised their Republican opponents.
Together, they’ve set a new fundraising record for third-party candidates in the city, with over $715,000 raised for their campaign — the vast majority from grassroots small-dollar donors.
We’re proud of these numbers because they show two things:
- We’re powered and funded by real people and communities inspired to give what they can, when they can.
- We have the momentum to win.
We need to make sure that Kendra and Nic have all the resources they need to crank their on-the-ground organizing into gear and reach as many voters as possible before Election Day.
That's why we're asking: Can you help us get out the vote for Kendra Brooks and Nicolas O’Rourke and make the Working Families Party the dominant minority party in one of the largest cities in the country? Split a contribution of $10 or any amount between their campaigns today — what we're able to accomplish depends on your grassroots support.

Across the board, Kendra and Nic are outperforming expectations, drawing endorsements from high-profile elected officials and labor unions, including Sen. John Fetterman and Gov. Josh Shapiro, and the full backing of Philadelphia’s progressive movement.
But we know their Republican opponents aren’t about to give up. We can only win in November by fueling the work to out-organize the forces that are aligning to stop our agenda through more small-dollar, grassroots donations from people like you, John.
From training volunteers, to phone banking and texting, or even covering the printing costs for literature to pass out to voters — every dollar we raise goes towards our organizing efforts to power Kendra and Nic's campaigns to victory, and build a Philadelphia where everyone, regardless of zip code, race, or immigration status, has access to affordable healthcare, a livable wage, quality education, and safe communities.
Can you split contribution of $10 or any amount between Kendra Brooks' and Nicolas O'Rourke's campaigns to power their get-out-the-vote program in Philadelphia?
Thank you for investing in the movement we're building together,
Working Families Party
