KU?s National Survey on Health and Disability

Beginning October 2023, the University of Kansas will be gathering information (data) about the concerns and experiences of disabled people across the country.

The National Survey on Health and Disability covers a range of topics and "explores aspects of people's sense of belonging and how they matter," says the Institute for Health and Disability Policy Studies.

Broadband Equity Think Tank Report

On July 20, 2023, the Partnership on Employment & Accessible Technology (PEAT) and the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) hosted a virtual Think Tank on Defining Disability Inclusion & Accessibility Technical Assistance (TA) & Resources for State Programs. The Think Tank?s goal was to help states build inclusive State Digital Equity Plans (attached below) that serve the needs of people with disabilities and members of other covered populations that are named in the Digital Equity Act of 2021 who have historically experienced lower rates of internet and computer usage.
