House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul (R-TX) and Ranking Member Greg Meeks (D-NY) are circulating a pro-Israel resolution that:
- “Condemns Hamas’ brutal war on Israel.”
- “Stands with Israel” and “reaffirms Israel’s right to self-defense.”
- “Reaffirms the United States’ commitment to Israel's security” and “stands ready to assist Israel with emergency resupply and other security, diplomatic, and intelligence support.”
- “Urges full enforcement of U.S. sanctions against Iran to prevent Iran’s funding of terrorist groups including Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.”
The resolution is expected to be introduced tomorrow and we are urging all House members to sign on today as original cosponsors.

Background
- More than 800 Israelis have now been confirmed killed and more than 2,500 wounded in the ongoing and abhorrent terror attack.
- IDF says it has regained control of all Gaza border towns, but terrorists may remain inside Israel.
