Supreme Court To Hear Challenge To ACA

Today, the Supreme Court announced that it will hear the appeal of a
decision invalidating the now penalty-less individual mandate and, with
it, the entire Affordable Care Act (ACA). The Court will consider a
range of issues, from whether the plaintiffs have standing to whether
the rest of the ACA can be severed from the mandate. A decision will be

A CLOSER LOOK-Nursing Homes

One of the latest clusters of COVID-19 cases is centered at a nursing
home outside Seattle. A July 2019 article by Fangli Geng and coauthors
showed how many nursing homes struggle
to
manage "large daily staffing fluctuations, low weekend staffing, and
daily staffing levels often below the expectations of the Centers for
Medicare and Medicaid Services."
