Today, as we observe Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we are reminded of the deep-rooted history and vibrant cultures of the Tribal Nations that have enriched our land for centuries. This day is more than a time for reflection — it is a celebration of the contributions and resilience of our sovereign nations to our communities.
In Oklahoma, our 38 Tribal Nations contribute billions to the economy annually and support over 100,000 jobs, a testament to their enduring commitment to our shared future.
As we celebrate today, let's go beyond mere acknowledgment. Let’s immerse ourselves in the songs, languages, arts, and stories that are the heartbeat of Indigenous cultures. These treasures, both tangible and intangible, are an integral part of our state.
Together, let's ensure that the legacy and rights of our Tribal Nations are celebrated and uplifted, today and every day.

Madison is running for Congress because she's seen firsthand how our leaders are now failing our families. Too many in Oklahoma are losing their opportunities for a better life, and we need leaders who will put politics aside and start getting something done for rural communities.
