Y’all — as of today, we are five days away from Election Day.

I’ve had a lot of important events in my life. The day I founded The Cheek Law Firm LLC, which paved the way for me to fight for everyday Louisianans in my community. The day I took the bad actors responsible for “cancer alley” to court — and won.

But this upcoming Election Day is the most critical date I’ve ever had in my life.

I entered this race because, like so many of the folks who support my campaign, this fight is personal to me. I didn’t grow up with much, but my mama and my daddy did what they could to make ends meet for me and my five younger siblings. They taught me the value of hard work and lit a fire in me to fight for others, especially disadvantaged community members.

That’s why I’m here today. Because I’ve continuously defied the odds, and because people like you have believed in me and my mission.

Right now, we have only a couple of days to share our vision for a better Louisiana with as many voters as possible, and our ability to work together at this moment will make or break this campaign.

We didn’t get this far to not give it our all when it counts the most. So, will you pitch in towards my grassroots campaign to help us secure our win this Saturday?
