MAGA Rep. Kevin Hern endorsed two extreme far-right political bomb-throwers to be Mayor of Crazy Town.
I'm running for Congress in Oklahoma's 1st District to stop MAGA Rep. Kevin Hern from holding America back with his extremist stances and constant "stirring up the base." I want to go to Congress to move America forward, address the true concerns of Oklahomans, and get things done to make our country better.
Hern has the qualifications needed to be the new MAGA Republican Speaker of the House. First, Hern is a MAGA who has declared his fealty to Trump, the de facto leader of the Republican Party. Second, Hern is a political bomb-thrower who hasn't hesitated to "stir up the base" on issues like opposing COVID-vaccine policy, calling Trump's federal indictments a "witch hunt," and cutting military aid to Ukraine.
Hern wanted to be Speaker but couldn't get the votes, so he endorsed his "two good friends," Rep. Steve Scalise and Rep. Jim Jordan. All three are far-right extremists, loyal to Trump, and all three voted on January 6, 2021 to overturn the results of the 2020 Presidential election. Any one of these ringleaders, if elected Speaker, will shut our government down.
Our campaign strongly opposes Hern and the takeover of the Republican Party by the extreme right. Today's Republican Party would be unrecognizable to traditional conservatives - if there are any left. If there are, they should be standing on their values and stopping Hern and the goals of his fellow extremists - appeasing Trump, firing up their base, and creating chaos.
I'm running for Congress because I want an America where elected officials represent the interests of their constituents, engage in informed debate, and then vote in America's best interests. Together, we can stop Oklahoma's top MAGA politician, Kevin Hern, from using his Congressional seat to support political extremists like Steve Scalise and Jim Jordan, whose only goals are to blow things up and create chaos.
