October 2023 CPL Report

Michigan saw slow growth in total statewide CPL numbers in September, a month that typically sees a big surge. Both MCRGO and NRA instructors report lower than normal demand for classes. There was a huge spike in student numbers from June 2020 through April 2022. We believe the current trough is a result of so many people getting certified during those months rather than current economic factors or a long-term leveling out of demand.
