Real Justice

John,

Los Angeles’ current District Attorney, Jackie Lacey, must go.

Lacey has fueled the mass incarceration machine, opposed key reforms, and failed to hold police accountable for brutalizing communities.

One-hundred and ten black women authored a letter about why Jackie Lacey must go and why it’s so important that we elect a reform-minded District Attorney in Los Angeles.

Will you read and then share the open letter with your friends and family right now on Twitter? We need everyone to know how terrible Jackie Lacey has been for Los Angeles.

The letter is signed by movement leaders including Patrisse Cullors, Angela Davis, Michelle Alexander, and many more freedom fighters. They are all speaking out about the importance of Tuesday’s election because lives hang in the balance.

Los Angeles County has the largest jail system in the world. It’s the county with the most urgent need for reform and the most potential to impact justice reform across the nation. We can elect a progressive DA in Los Angeles but it’s going to take activism from all of us.

Read and then share the open letter with your friends and families today and let’s continue to build our movement for justice together.

Thank you for your activism,
Real Justice
