John, I started Democracy Defense Fund with the purpose of defeating Donald and all his MAGA acolytes and enablers at every level of government.

So, you can imagine my concern when I read headlines like this one:

The polling is all over the place, John.

You can find polls that have Biden up by a few points, or Donald narrowly leading, or the two of them statistically tied. You can even find polls where Donald is leading by as many as 6 points.

Here’s how I’m reading all of this though: No matter what, this is going to be an incredibly close race between two wildly different possibilities for our future as a country.

We can work together to continue building on the progress we’ve made in recent years, or we can slip back into a world governed by fear, hate, and bigotry.

The silver lining to a race being this close is that your support can have an outsized impact, John, which is why I’m asking: Will you please donate $25 to defeat Donald and the rest of the GOP up and down the ballot?
