Hi, I have an important favor to ask you, one that’s especially near and dear
to my heart.

In the House, we just passed the PAWS Act which provides financial support and
assistance to our wounded veterans who otherwise couldn't afford a service dog.
These life-changing service animals can often cost upwards of $25,000 and are
out of reach for most hard-working Americans.

I’m asking 2,500 of my supporters to add their name with mine to urge the
Senate to pass this bill to support our veterans. Will you be one of them?

This bill will help more veterans afford these lifesaving dogs that greatly
impact and preserve the life of brave soldiers suffering from PTSD and other
medical conditions.

But, unfortunately, like so many bills sent to the Senate, it’s sitting on
Mitch McConnell’s desk collecting dust which is negatively impacting veterans
across our country every single day.

This legislation is a clear win-win: More of our amazing veterans get the
companionship and increased quality of life from service dogs that they so
rightfully deserve, and more service dogs find a loving home.
