October 7th, 2023 Statement from Margarita Wilkinson
Republican Candidate for Congress, CA-49:


5,000 rockets is far more than a terrorist act - it is an act of war. The reckless and naive abandonment of Israel by the Obama Administration, and Biden’s rekindling the policy of appeasing Hamas by way of Iran, is very much responsible for where we are today.


At every step of the way, incumbent congressman Mike Levin and his cohorts in the progressive caucus, have supported these dreadful policies.


Our tiny sister nation has been under attack from day one by forces determined to end her very existence. I stand with Israel today and I will stand with her every day in Congress. I will never abandon Israel, the only true Democracy in the Middle East.


My husband Philip and I are praying for the people of Israel today, and for an immediate end to this horrific attack.
