Earlier this week, it was announced that former Speaker Kevin McCarthy's staff have been making phone calls on behalf of our opponent Congressman Jim Jordan, the far-right's preferred nominee for Speaker of the House.

Now, late last night, Donald Trump posted on his propaganda platform, Truth Social, that he will be supporting and backing his partner-in-crime, Jim Jordan, for Speaker of the House:

The reasons why Trump would endorse Jordan for the top job in the House aren’t complicated: Jordan has pledged to do everything in his power to try to undermine Trump’s many criminal cases, including shutting down the government in an effort to starve Special Counsel Jack Smith’s team of funding.

Jordan has spent his entire tenure as Chair of the Judiciary Committee running interference for Trump’s 2024 campaign, smearing Joe Biden with absolutely ZERO proof of any wrongdoing and spearheading a baseless impeachment inquiry.

The threat of him becoming speaker is real, and we are on the brink of a total extreme right takeover of the US House of Representatives.
