Friends - amid the chaos that is Capitol Hill right now, I’m so glad I have this team standing by me. Thank you so much to everyone who showed their support for my re-election campaign these last few days. The pressure was at an all-time high between our end-of-quarter fundraising deadline, our hustle to avoid a Republican government shutdown, and of course, the ousting of Kevin McCarthy from the Speakership.
Through all of that, you all stepped up – and here’s some good news: We blew past our fundraising goal!
This victory matters a lot. Besides the huge relief of hitting our goal - it sets us up for a strong October by helping us plan ahead and build a stronger campaign, and it shows everyone the strength of our grassroots support.
I’m feeling incredibly grateful and proud of this team. Thank you all so much for your support - whether that’s reading my emails, showing up when it matters most, chipping in to my campaign when you’re able to, or all of the above.
