Hey John, my name is Kelsey Jackson and I’m the Chief Financial
and Administrative Officer here at Women’s March.

I have a confession to make.

While I’m obviously VERY excited about all the amazing things we’ve got on
the docket this fall — the Ride for Rights Bus Tour and the Women’s
Convention later this month — I’m also concerned when I take a look at our
ActBlue page and see this:

The reality is that these events require a lot of resources to make them
happen.

And that’s not even accounting for what it takes to organize marches and
rallies on short notice when our rights are under attack. Which seems to
happen a lot these days.

My point is that from a purely financial perspective, we simply cannot
afford to do all the important work that needs to be done when our
fundraising grinds to a halt like this.
