The Goldwater Institute successfully defended a Tucson mother who was falsely accused of child neglect.

After the mother let her 7-year-old son play in their neighborhood park, the Arizona Department of Child Services put her name on a blacklist that forbids a person from working or even volunteering with children or vulnerable adults for 25 years.

The Goldwater Institute successfully defended the innocent mom from these bureaucrats, and the court ordered the Arizona Department of Child Services to remove her name from the blacklist.

The Goldwater Institute also won a massive victory in Texas over radical DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) bureaucracies.

The DEI movement has hijacked our institutions, and DEI officers have turned colleges into socialist indoctrination centers. They wield great power on campuses and use it to promote Marxist policies.

The Texas bill completely shuts down the entire “diversity, equity, and inclusion” (DEI) apparatus used by the Left to instigate race or gender-based radicalism on college campuses.

This huge victory sets the stage for additional wins. Goldwater’s bold action against DEI in Texas sets a new standard that we will now promote across the country, forcing higher education to reflect the values of the people it’s supposed to serve.

When Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs tried to cancel school choice, Goldwater fought back! Hobbs tried to eliminate school choice through the state budget proposal, but Goldwater successfully defended the rights of parents, and the program is now stronger than ever.

Goldwater passed the first universal school choice program in the country, and we won’t let politicians or bureaucrats undo all our hard work. We’ll keep fighting until all families can access the education their kids deserve.
