John, Municipal elections are the cornerstone of our democracy. They may not get the glory, but they are my favorite type of election. As a former elected official and a community organizer, there is no other type of election that literally affects your everyday life.
Local elected leaders manage essential services, decide how to allocate local tax revenue, and enact policies that affect our schools, parks, and roads. In short, municipal elections are critical to maintaining safe and healthy communities.
With one month left until Election Day, will you donate TODAY to help our local Democratic candidates win on Nov. 7?
