Just a few days ago, California Republicans held their convention.

Both Trump and DeSantis showed up to stoke the flames of hatred and bigotry. Trump attacked our state, saying California has “become a symbol of our nation’s decline.”

At that same convention, California Republicans voted to keep opposition to abortion and same-sex marriage in their official platform.

The California GOP’s extremism is why we’re so thankful that Rob Bonta is our Attorney General — because Rob will always fight to protect the reproductive rights of every single person in California and work day and night to ensure that same-sex marriage remains the law of the land.
