Weekend Service Impacts
Route 12 to Downtown Seattle will be rerouted off Madison Street between Boren Avenue and 9th Avenue from Saturday, October 7 through Sunday, October 8 due to construction.
Routes 20, 31, 32, 45 48, 67, 75, 271, 372, and ST 542 will be rerouted from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 8 during the Dawg Dash.
Routes 43 and 48 will be rerouted in both directions during the closure of Montlake Boulevard E between E Hamlin Street and E Louisa Street from Friday, October 6 at 10 p.m. through Monday, October 9 at 6 a.m. due to construction.
Route 60 to Broadway will be rerouted off 9th Avenue between James Street and Madison Street from Saturday, October 7 through Sunday, October 8 due to construction.
Routes 208, 271 and ST 554 will be affected by street closures in downtown Issaquah from Saturday, October 7 to Sunday, October 8 at 8 p.m. during Issaquah Salmon Days.
Routes 255, 271, ST 542, and ST 545 will be rerouted in both directions off the SR 520 bridge from Friday, October 6 at 10 p.m. through Sunday, October 8 due to construction.
Route ST 545 to Downtown Seattle will be rerouted off 5th Avenue in downtown Seattle during the Indigenous Peoples' Day Celebration march from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, October 9.
Take transit to all your sporting events in Seattle. Metro and Link light rail serves riders heading to T-Mobile Park, Husky Stadium, Lumen Field and Climate Pledge Arena;
OL Reign?will have a match at 5 p.m. on Friday at?Lumen Field;
Sounders?have a match on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Lumen Field
West Seattle Water Taxi will be on the Sunday schedule on Monday, October 9 for Indigenous Peoples' Day;
Vashon Water Taxi will not run?on Monday, October 9 for Indigenous Peoples' Day;
Seattle Center Monorail?will operate from 8:30 a.m. to 12 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday and from 8:30 a.m. to 12 a.m. on Monday. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;

There was no?shortage of accolades, affection and appreciation today as King County Executive Dow Constantine and Metro leaders announced Rich Polkinghorn is Metro?s 2023 Vehicle Maintenance Employee of the Year.
Polkinghorn, an East?Base mechanic since 2003, was cheered on by family and colleagues as he received the award at a surprise ceremony today.?In his 20?years with Metro, Rich has worked at multiple bases and demonstrated his ability to provide excellent service maintaining Metro?s bus fleet so riders have reliable service.

Their expertise and care helps reunite riders with lost phones and wallets, troubleshoot ORCA cards and bus passes, and make trip plans across the region?s network of buses, trains, streetcars, paratransit and flexible services.
