96A Message from the ChairwomanSupport Our Candidates by Voting
EarlyTeam,

October is upon us. This means we are just over one month
away from electing leadership for our municipalities across the state.
From Crown Point to Fort Wayne to Indianapolis down to Evansville, over
to Madison, and in between, we are working hard these final 30 days to
elect strong Republican leadership in our cities and towns.

To make
election night as successful as possible, we need your help! If you
haven't already, please sign up to help a candidate or the Republican
slate near you. Any donation of your time, talent and/or treasure will
be a crucial jolt to whichever candidate(s) you are helping. Also, if
you haven't already, please be sure to make a plan to vote and take your
friends and family with you! A great way to help your local candidates
and local party is to [link removed] "Bank Your Vote" by
voting early! Getting GOP voters to vote before election day allows our
candidates to increase turn out and run up the score. So please be sure
to make a plan today to vote! To find your early and election day voting
options, please visit [link removed] indianavoters.com.

"INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Almost one-third of Americans say they prefer the
suburban lifestyle, and WalletHub’s Best Small City in America is right
here in central Indiana.
"Personal finance website WalletHub recently
released its list of the nation’s best small cities for 2023. Their
researchers compared more than 1,300 U.S. cities with a population
between 25,000 and 100,000, with a variety of factors taken into
account.

"When the numbers were tallied up one city was on top:
Carmel, which got high marks for factors including home ownership,
median household income, and public safety."

Being Happy Enough When Reporting on Economy: 'Gotta Choose my Words
Here' From FOX News:

"When President Biden was asked by the press
why many Americans are concerned about the economy, he responded by
claiming reporters are 'not the happiest people.'"
"Biden spoke to
White House reporters following remarks on the latest jobs report
Friday afternoon. He cited the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics report
indicating that the economy is doing fairly well and that employers
added 336,000 jobs in September.

"The president rebuffed concerns
about the economy as merely a perspective pushed by the media. 'Well,
first of all, you heard the news today, too, they haven’t heard it,"
referring to the jobs report. 'I think the 300,000-plus people that got
jobs feel better about the economy.'"
