We passed the Convention of States Resolution through the Wisconsin State Assembly with a landslide victory of 60-38.
Immediately following, those who want to maintain the status quo in D.C. took notice and started leveraging media contacts to spread misinformation about COS in Wisconsin.
The Center for Media and Democracy led the way with an article filled with false-claims and conspiracy theories.
When radical leftists groups are so scared of Convention of States they publish a 1,500-word hit piece to try to undermine our efforts, we know we’re doing something right.
And they have good reason to be afraid. Forty-nine states have now had legislative sponsors file the COS resolution in their state. Thirty states have passed the resolution through at least one committee hearing or more.
Twenty-three states have passed the resolution through one entire floor chamber vote. Fifteen states have passed the resolution completely.
