Friend,

As we embark on a new Supreme Court term, it is crucial that we remain
vigilant in our efforts to protect our democracy and ensure justice for
all Americans.

The upcoming term is poised to be a critical one, with several cases that
have the potential to shape our nation's future. We want to keep you
informed about the cases that demand our attention and why it is
imperative that we be united in our opposition to the Court's continued
push of extremist agendas.

+----------------------------------------------------------------+
WHAT’S AT STAKE THIS TERM

United States v. Rahimi: The Court will address whether people
subject to a domestic violence restraining order have a
constitutional right to firearms.

Acheson Hotels v. Laufer: Justices could undermine the
longstanding civil rights practice of using “testers” to
uncover illegal discrimination.

Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo: Conservatives are hoping
the Court will overrule its longtime practice of upholding
federal agencies’ regulations as long as they are reasonable
interpretations of congressional statutes.

Alexander v. South Carolina Conference of the NAACP: The Court
will decide whether to reverse a lower court’s finding that
South Carolina Republicans used illegal racial gerrymandering
in drawing congressional districts.

Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine v. FDA: This case hasn’t
reached the Court yet, but this term the justices will decide
whether to sharply limit the availability of mifepristone for
medication abortions.

And more…
