I was proud to champion the Equal Pay for Team USA legislation that guaranteed U.S. athletes receive equitable compensation, regardless of gender.

We have Seattle Reign’s own Megan Rapinoe to thank for speaking out time and time again on pay disparity in U.S. soccer, where she dominated with the women’s national team.

Today, I’m proud to say that athletes representing our country on the world stage are compensated equitably – in large part thanks to Megan Rapinoe.

Megan is playing her final home game today before retiring. I’m calling on my supporters to sign our virtual card thanking Megan for her advocacy on behalf of equal pay:
