Holy smokes!! A new poll shows Congressman Andy Kim CRUSHING Senator
Robert Menendez 63% to 10% in a Senate primary.

This news came the very day Andy Kim spoke on a PCCC national Zoom and
declared, "I have never actually seen a gold bar in person" – a reference
to Menendez’s indictment including gold bars he accepted from foreign
agents.

Menendez still has millions of dollars in the bank and is promising to use
it against his opponents.

Kim told PCCC members and reporters: "The Senate majority is razor thin.
The idea that the Senate seat from New Jersey could potentially flip to
the Republicans if we nominate somebody who has these serious allegations
-- that is not something we can do." He said Democrats need to stand for
integrity as a contrast to Trump.

On working with PCCC:
"When I had no idea what I was doing trying to run a congressional race
back in 2017, it was the PCCC that was able to provide some training and
provide some capacity to get off the ground. So I'm just always really
grateful for that support, PCCC, and that's the kind of stuff that helps
lift up candidates like myself and others around the country."

On the first week of his Senate campaign:
"We raised about a million dollars in the first week of this campaign.
People all over New Jersey, all over the country [are] stepping up to help
out, saying: ‘Hey, look, it doesn't matter if it's the Democratic Party,
Republican Party, we got to call out when we think that there's something
wrong…’ We're getting a lot of great continuing momentum. There's a poll
that came out today showing that I have a substantial lead over the
Senator as well as other potential competitors that might get in."

On saving democracy:
"Right now is the point of time with the least amount of trust in
government in modern American history. We just are living through a moment
where there is so much concern -- and I've been saying this line a lot
lately -- I say, the opposite of democracy is apathy. And I feel like
we're getting so close to that point where people are just giving up…So
it's important that Democrats show that we are willing to step up and say
what we think is right. It doesn't matter if it's a Democrat or
Republican. I think it’s critical to try to figure out how we heal this
country. How do we try to restore that sense of trust?"
