Every March, Women's History Month honors the ways that women have shaped the story of our nation.
We join together to celebrate women's many contributions to society—as leaders, inventors, scientists, writers, artists, and activists. As mothers, sisters, and friends. As entrepreneurs, educators, caregivers, coaches, and service members. As sources of wisdom and inspiration.
Women are a vital part of the fabric of our communities. They truly hold up half the sky! 100 years ago, our nation’s leaders recognized that truth when they granted women the vote. This year, the theme of Women's History Month, "Valiant Women of the Vote," honors those who bravely fought to gain this right, and those still fighting today to protect it.
