She is the most qualified person for this position – and also happens to be a truly phenomenal and admirable person. Although Kentucky is considered a red state, its Attorney General seat is typically filled by a Democrat. In fact, the only times voters elected a Republican to the seat since the 1930s were in 1944 and then in the most recent election in 2019.

So, given that history + the popularity of Kentucky’s Democratic governor (who will also be on the ballot next month), this race is winnable.

As Attorney General, Pamela Stevenson is determined to make Kentucky a place for everyone to succeed. Meanwhile, her opponent, Republican Russell Coleman, is a pro-life extremist who is endorsed by Kentucky Right to Life as well as many other extremist groups and people. He’s also taken thousands of dollars from opioid lobbyists.

Let’s help this phenomenal candidate WIN. Kentucky has never had a woman Attorney General – but the state needs female leadership now more than ever, especially as abortion is almost completely banned statewide.
