The Real Estate Services Division is hiring a Deputy Assistant Director to provide direction to staff to accomplish the primary objective of managing statewide real estate leasing efforts from inception to conclusion, including space planning, programming, lease transactions, and acquisition and disposal of real property. In this role, you will serve as the statewide expert for real estate transactions. You will be accountable for the oversight, implementation and management of policy, tactical and strategic decisions for approximately 700 leases statewide with an annual occupancy lease cost of more than $200 million in annual rent. You will also monitor and enforce statewide policy for acquisition of space on behalf of state agencies. You will be required to use ongoing judgment and your ability to make independent decisions to influence the operations and management of public facilities including tenants and personnel.
